Ascent Productions, Inc is proud to be producing for the second year the Raisin
Hope Foundation Ride. Saul Raisin, a Dalton native, suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) in a crash while racing professionally
in Europe in 2006. Saul has fought back, recovered beyond his doctors expectations, and now focuses his energy toward helping
others with TBI’s. In 2007 over 500 riders participated in the RHFR and with the support of the City of Dalton we are
looking forward to an even more successful second year in 2008! We have added a second day with the Tour the Town Criterium
Race & 5K Run/Walk.

AUCTION~ The online auction was such a HUGE success last year we are working hard to have even better items this year. Look
for the Auction to launch in late September on Sportsbase Online!
Saturday 10.4
Foundation Ride: The second annual Raisin Hope Foundation Ride will again start out of Heritage
Point Park at 9:00 AM. There will be a 15, 35, 50, and 62-Mile ride options. After completing the ride participants
will be able to pick up their t-shirt and enjoy a complimentary lunch.
Foundation Reception:
Saturday evening the Foundation will host a Reception and Silent Auction. This event is to help raise money for the foundation
and will include LIVE the last hour of the Online Silent Auction allowing guests to bid against other bidding online. There
will also be a presentation by Saul Raisin and a Meet & Greet with other special guests and professional cyclists. JUST ANNOUNCED....Saul will be joined on Saturday evening by 8-time Australian Pro Time Trial Champion, Nathan O’Neill and Health Net Pro Cycling team's John Murphy will join Saul for the Foundation Ride
and Reception!
Sunday 10.5:
5K Run/Walk: Scheduled to begin at 7:30 AM with a circuit course that will loop within
the Downtown Dalton area. The Start/Finish location will be the same location as the Criterium Race. Every particpant will
receive a t-shirt.
Criterium Race: Don’t miss the excitement as Chad Andrews
and 2006 Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist, 2000 Olympian and 8-time Australian Pro Time Trial Champion,Nathan
O’Neill call all the action-packed / spectator-friendly Criterium Racing begins at 9:00 AM sharp. The
racing and festivities will wrap up at approximately 5:30 PM. The course is a 1K CLOSED CIRCUIT course through the streets
of Downtown Dalton.
